Georgia State University is a public research university spread across downtown Atlanta, Georgia. With a student population of 32,000 across eight colleges, GSU is one of the largest urban universities in the United States.
The Challenge
As an urban campus where many students live off campus and commute, fostering community spirit presented a unique challenge for GSU. The university needed a way to engage students digitally — especially around marquee events like Homecoming — while unifying departments that had historically operated independently on social media.
The Solution
