Instagram released an Avatars feature with the goal to eventually have people use them in the metaverse (but let’s get to the point).

Here’s how you can create your own avatar:

Step 1. Launch the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device.

Step 2. Click your profile tab at the bottom-right of the display

Step 3. Click the three lines at the top right-hand corner and then tap on Settings

Step 4. Select Account ––> Avatars

And voilà!
